Hitech GP
Hitech GP is one of the biggest and best known names competing in motor racing outside Formula 1. The team competes in the FIA F3 championship.
The Formula 3 Team set their sights on Silverstone Park as a location for their Headquarters and a base to run their operation from; which sees them travelling far and wide to compete in events. Following sourcing suitable premises, DSP were appointed to undertake the turnkey design and fit out of a large speculative unit on the famous Silverstone Park.
DSP were tasked with transforming the speculative commercial unit into an advanced purpose-built facility. In order to maximise the available space and encompass all of the required functions a large mezzanine floor was installed to create a second floor level. A variety of spaces were created including:
- Open plan workshop with storage on Ground Floor
- Reception and Managers office on Ground Floor
- Offices and Meeting Spaces at First Floor
- Additional Workshops at First Floor
- Large Kitchenette & Amenity at First Floor
- Simulator Dark Room at First Floor
As part of the turnkey design and fit out project DSP provided a number of services including:
- Turnkey interior design and project management including Building Control submission
- Mezzanine floor design & install including concrete screed to an existing mezzanine floor
- Fire rated ceilings, columns and fascia to mezzanine floor
- Dry lining, solid & glazed partitions
- Kitchen fit out
- Door sets and bespoke joinery
- Modular suspended ceilings
- Full mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire detection system design & fit out
The finished project provided Hitech GP with a fully purpose-built headquarters set within Silverstone Park; a global destination for engineering and innovation in high performance technology and Motorsports.
