DSP (Interiors) Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been appointed Principle Designer and Principle Contractor by Livewire telecom Ltd to fit out their new unit at Silverstone Park.
Livewire Telecom Ltd, global leader in distribution of mobile handsets, home routers and mobile broadband devices, will be relocating from their current premises at Silverstone Park to one of the new highly sought after industrial units on the park; built by developer MEPC as part of the Technology Business Park’s expansion within the heart of the high-tech cluster.
Livewire Telecom Ltd, established in 1999 ship on average 400,000 units per annum from their UK base to over 37 Countries worldwide and are recognised by all the major manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, realme and Nokia.
Driven by continued growth year on year Livewire Telecom Ltd and its other online business efones.com needed additional space for workshops, Offices, Meetings, storage capacity and packing. The new Circa 12,000 Sq Ft unit provided perfect flexibility to be adapted to the business’ needs.
Fit out starts on site at Silverstone Park
The fit out for Livewire Telecom Ltd is the latest in a long list of successful projects undertaken by DSP on the Park, including an Award-Winning design and fit out for KTM Sportmotorcycles UK Ltd. Speculative commercial units provide a great deal of flexibility and an ideal ‘blank-canvas’ allowing us to tailor workplaces to the exact requirements of the client. They are also complex involving a myriad of trades and a great deal of input from our team of designers, engineers, project managers and fitters.
The new headquarters for Livewire is a great example of this. We have been working closely with Managing Director, Richard Gallant, to ensure that we provide a bespoke workplace that meets the needs of the company now and into the future as they rapidly expand. To maximise the potential of the unit and cater for all aspects of the brief we will be installing two mezzanine floor structures to expand the footprint of the available space. These will accommodate Offices, Meeting Room, and Dark Room at First Floor with additional packing space and large Breakout to cater for staff on Ground Floor.
Creating a bespoke workspace for the client
As you can imagine for a tech firm, the office spaces are going to provide something of a wow factor and our team have worked closely with Richard to ensure we create a stunning new environment for all the staff at Livewire.
In-depth design and planning of the fit out has been undertaken to ensure we can deliver the completed unit to Livewire in the fastest time to ensure operations can get up and running at the unit as soon as possible. DSP will be delivering a turnkey office fit out project including but not limited to:
- Mezzanine floor design, installation, and mezzanine floor fire rating
- Glass office partitions and glass doors
- Glazed fire screens
- Solid office partition systems
- Drop down MF ceilings with bespoke feature pendent lighting
- Suspended office ceilings
- Bespoke joinery including Doors and Kitchen
- All Mechanical services to extend the base build including fresh air ventilation and new energy efficient air conditioning
- All electrical services to extend the base build including lighting, power, data, and more
- Flooring including carpets, vinyl and Warehouse durable epoxy resin finish
- Specification and installation of artwork and high-end office furniture systems
- Shelving and racking design and installation
DSP have begun work this week, establishing site setup and commencing with the build of the two mezzanine floor structures, having put all COVID-19 secure strategies in place and will update on the project as we progress. DSP assisted Livewire throughout with the logistics of the project so far, enabling works to be carried out sooner than had hoped.
