DPS completes factory design and fit-out for SureScreen Diagnostics
DSP (Interiors) Ltd have completed the design and fit-out of SureScreen Diagnostics’ Lateral Flow Test production facility at Lucinda House, Sherwood Business Park in Annesley, Nottingham.
DSP have been principal designer and principal contractor for the scheme at Sherwood business Park as we support SureScreen’s move towards the creation of a factory of the future. The project encompassed the design and fit out of a circa 113,000ft2 automated production and packaging facility at Lucinda House, the largest of its kind in Europe.
Work has involved the continued development of an existing logistics shed into a state-of-the-art facility with automated production lines and specialist services, along with all ancillary support spaces including a new amenity block and agile offices.

- Full turnkey project including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Space planning, interior and systems design and specification
- Fire rated suspended ceiling, fascia and column casings to mezzanine floor.
- Installation of non-fire rated suspended ceilings.
- Fire rated jumbo plasterboard partitions with deflection head detail.
- Installation of fire dampers, fire blankets and fire barriers
- Installation of fire rated, and non-fire rated stud and track partitions.
- Dry lining of various heights and acoustic ratings
- Large installation of hygienic cladding system to production spaces
- High acoustic rated double glazed partitions including Kross glazed and non-Kross glazed. Partitions include double glazed framed door sets.
- Bespoke joinery including fitted furniture, kitchen units, hospitality units, planters, rafts and doors.
- Design and installation of biophilic fixtures
- Installation of a variety of acoustical treatments including ceiling rafts, slatted acoustic wall panels, acoustic attenuators to vent and acoustic treatments within ceiling voids.
- Large installation of safety vinyl flooring to production and packing spaces.
- High end flooring finishes to agile office and amenity
- Specification and installation of a variety of agile office and amenity furniture
- Toilet block fit-out including new underground drainage, toilet cubicles, shower rooms, all fully tiled and with lockers.
- Design and installation of all electrical services including building power upgrade complete with HV transformer and switch gear installation, lighting, power, data, CCTV, fire alarm, AV and distribution.
- Design and installation of all mechanical services, including bespoke dehumidification duct work, air conditioning, heat recovery ventilation, extraction, plumbing, drainage and airlines including a multiple compressor set-up.
