Newtons 4th Ltd Office Design & Fit Out

Due to expansion and to ensure their premises facilitated operations long term, Newtons 4th Ltd acquired a 3 storey office building in a key location in Leicester. Newtons 4th Ltd design, manufacture and support innovative electronic equipment specialising in sophisticated test equipment so the new premises needed to support a variety of operations on the site.

DSP were charged with the interior fit out of all three floors which had a variety of functions on each. Ground Floor included the main operation of the business with deliveries, storage and general works. First Floor level included a dedicated training and meeting facility, large agile breakout canteen area, storage and calibration operations. Second floor housed the main offices and day-to-day management of the company.

A variety of partitions were installed including composite, single glazed and acoustic plasterboard partitions. Acoustics were particularly important within the offices at second floor so acoustic slabs were installed to retain acoustic integrity.

Branding, feature graphics and write on / wipe off walls were installed in various locations around the building. Striking manifestation was created for the glazed partitions that incorporated the sound wave used within their logo. A large world map adjusted in Newtons 4th colours was installed within the agile breakout to create a talking piece and highlight N4L locations worldwide.
