As part of a series of developments for this IT infrastructure company, DSP was appointed to design and build an enclosure that would support the on-site assembly of server components. Situated within the logistics centre, the client required a free-standing, self-supporting large span structure ensuring adequate protection and security. In addition the enclosure needed to provide a good working environment for the various intricate processes carried out.

DSP worked closely with the client and building control to develop a design that both satisfied all of the client’s requirements and set a high standard for a working environment. DSP undertook all aspects of the project including building control consultancy, on-site management, construction of the support structure, partitions, ceilings, flooring and provision of all environmental design. Successful completion of the enclosure has encouraged the planning of further similar pods in the future.
