EUM Consultants Ltd Office Design & Fit Out

EUM Consultants Ltd is one of the UK’s largest providers of home energy efficiency surveys that aim to help clients save money and reduce their carbon footprints. After deciding to move offices from Fort Dunlop to more suitable premises in Solihull; DSP were approached via marketing consultants, The Marketing Pod, to undertake the design and fit out.

From the outset EUM wanted to create a striking interior that emulated aspects of their services and provide a vibrant workspace for their relocated staff. The final design aimed to break up the ‘boxy’ L-shaped building layout by introducing various curved feature areas including flooring, glass screens and bespoke graphics. Upon entering the offices, clients are greeted with a striking reception/holding area with feature walls, bespoke curved reception desk and impressive background graphics to the seated area of a stylised windmill scene. Another notable focal point of the reception area was the bespoke signage of the company logo supplied and fitted by DSP.

Beyond the reception area the layout flows through into the open plan office that leads onto an enclosed office and presentation room/ Boardroom. Further use of impressive graphics and fully glazed partitions create a really spacious, vibrant feel to the workspace. The use of glazed partitions and partially screened off areas allows all the space to feel interconnected whilst allowing for privacy where required. Other unique features include the Bbreakout space and a full scale vector graphic applied to a bank of storage wall adjacent to the Boardroom.

The colour scheme for the project was very much eco – earthy and various textures were introduced via specialist wall vinyls, feature carpets cut into the existing dark flooring and feature graphics. Further accent colours and textures were incorporated using the desking systems, screens and seating specified by DSP.
